OPENEDGES Technology, a leading provider of memory subsystem IP solutions, today announced a collaboration with Renesas Electronics Corporation, a global leader in automotive and industrial semiconductor solutions. As part of this collaboration, Renesas has licensed OPENEDGES’ memory subsystem IPs.

With OPENEDGES’ proven capabilities in high-bandwidth, low-latency, and power-efficient memory access and Renesas’ leadership in embedded semiconductor solutions, this collaboration aims to realize a shared vision to advance Renesas’ next-generation RZ Family microprocessor platform. OPENEDGE’s memory subsystem IPs were chosen, following a rigorous evaluation process by Renesas.
