A full embedded camera-system is provided with the Bit-Multi-Ethernet-Camera, consisting of an integrated chain of IP blocks. It feeds a camera sensor's video stream via RTP to an UDP/IP-Ethernet Interface. All processing of the video stream and protocol handling is done in hardware. Only a lens, a camera sensor, PHY components and housing are needed to provide a complete camera.

Local image processing functions can be inserted as HDL based hardware or processed by an integrated or an external controller.

For applications where multiple camera sensors are needed, local image processing can generate a result in a single separate stream, or separate video streams can be forwarded to a host via separate UDP ports.
