ParaQum Technologies® advanced Encryption Standard (AES) engine is a highly configurable and multipurpose encryption/decryption engine. The AES engine can be used for wide range of requirements from low gate count to high performance. Configurable cipher modes (ECB, CTR, CBC, CFB, OFB, OMAC, CCM/CMAC, GCM/GMAC and XTS) enables usage of AES engine in wide range of applications. Data and control information can be transferred using AXI4 stream interface. The AES engine is suited for both ASIC and FPGA target technologies.

There are two products available in AES engine. High performance AES core which is optimized for higher throughput applications such as storage and high bandwidth networking applications. Scalable AES core is configurable for wide range of throughput and different cipher modes which is suitable for low to medium throughput applications.
