The RivieraWaves Wi-Fi IP family offers a comprehensive suite of IPs and platforms for embedding Wi-Fi connectivity into SoCs/ASSPs addressing a broad range of applications.

The RW-AC 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) 4x4 is part of the RivieraWaves Wi-Fi Multi-Gig category, addressing the most demanding central gateway type of applications which require premium performance for large numbers of subscribers such as access points, media gateways and Wi-Fi offload in small cells. It is the industry s highest performance Wi-Fi IPs compliant with 802.11ac 4x4 (Wi-Fi 5).

The CEVA RW-AC Multi-Gig IP consists of 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) 4x4 hardware MAC and software defined modem (based on CEVA-XC DSP), supporting 3 or 4 spatial streams. It is provided with LMAC (aka thinMAC) for use with linux/Android mac80211 UMAC, and LMAC+UMAC (aka FullMAC) software protocol stacks. It is provided with an integration-ready processor and operating-system- agnostic platform, simplifying deployment in SoC/ASSP designs. The Wi-Fi software protocol stacks can be executed on any processor such as ARM, ARC, Andes, Cortus, RISC-V and others.

The RW-AC platform can be used in a standalone single chip or integrated into a bigger System on Chip (SoC) such as application processor, baseband processor, or multistandard wireless combos.

Silicon independent, the RW-AC IP support several radio IPs from various partners such as Catena. Other RF can be easily supported on customer demand.
